A strong earthquake shook northeastern India and Nepal on Sunday night-In Which at least 11 people(six in India and five in Nepal) died.
The British Foreign Office confirmed a “compound perimeter wall” of the embassy collapsed, adding that its ambassador has met with the community and offered condolences.

Lots of buildings and two major roads damaged in this earth quake,The deaths and damage came after a total of three quakes struck the region in rapid succession in a mountainous region.
No Tsunami warning has been issued.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh responded swiftly, calling an emergency meeting with the National Disaster Management Authority. The Indian Air Force sent five planes to aid in the rescue efforts. The army has been deployed to search for anyone who might be pinned under debris.
