"This is a tradition here but I don't agree with it, because they are placing their lives at risk. They go in there under the influence of alcohol, drugs and place their lives at risk," said a local man, Josevides Arias. In the footage most of the men come off badly against the rampaging bulls, charged, gored and stamped on they clamber desperately into the stands to escape. "Those who are not matadors or professionals, well, they risk their lives for no reason.
