Toulouse Jewish School Attacks,Four Shot Dead(Photos Video)
At least four people, including three children, were killed, when a man on a scooter opened fire outside a Jewish school in Toulouse in southwestern France on Monday at around 7.55am local time, shooting everything that moved and chasing terrified children indoors, before fleeing on a scooter.
“He shot at everything he could see, children and adults, and some children were chased into the school,” local prosecutor Michel Valet said at the scene.
The dead were named as Jonathan Sandler, 30, his two sons Aryeh, three, and Gavriel Yissacher, six, Miriam Montenago, aged 10, Valet added.
The attack also left several injured, two of them seriously, and followed the killing of three soldiers in two separate shootings in the same region last week by a man who escaped on a scooter.
BFM TV news channel said that the gun used in the attack at the Ozar Hatorah school was of the same calibre as that used in the soldiers’ shootings, but a spokesperson for the interior ministry could not immediately confirm this.

President Nicolas Sarkozy and the socialite front-runner Francois Hollande cancelled all campaign events and along with Prime Minister Francois Fillon, attended the Notre-Dame de Nazareth synagogue for a somber ceremony.
They also visited the Ozar Hatorah school where the attack took place and the president announced a minute’s silence to be observed in all French schools on Tuesday.

200 pound tumour has been removed from the right leg of Vietnamese Man after a 12-hour critical operation.The 32 year old young man, is said to be in a stable condition after the surgery at the France-Vietnam hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
U.S. surgeon McKay McKinnon led the eight-strong team who began operating on Mr Hai’s leg at 8.55am local time this morning.He has successfully removed the tumour despite it carrying just a 50 per cent success rate.McKay McKinnon performed similarly high-risk tumor removals in the past.
McKinnon agreed to waive his fee for the operation, which the hospital estimates will cost around $12,000. Luckily, generous donors have stepped up to cover the remaining cost of the surgery.

Conjoined twin girls born with the tops of their heads fused together have been separated in a operation at London.Eleven-month-old Rital and Ritag Gaboura were born in Sudan with the tops of their heads stuck together. Twins born joined at the head _ known as craniopagus twins _ occur in about one in 2.5 million births and successful attempts to split them are rare. However, the condition can lead to serious medical problems and the charity said the twins’ parents asked for help funding surgery to pull the two apart. The charity said Sunday the two were finally separated last month and appear to be healthy.
