Toulouse Jewish School Attacks,Four Shot Dead(Photos Video)
At least four people, including three children, were killed, when a man on a scooter opened fire outside a Jewish school in Toulouse in southwestern France on Monday at around 7.55am local time, shooting everything that moved and chasing terrified children indoors, before fleeing on a scooter.
“He shot at everything he could see, children and adults, and some children were chased into the school,” local prosecutor Michel Valet said at the scene.
The dead were named as Jonathan Sandler, 30, his two sons Aryeh, three, and Gavriel Yissacher, six, Miriam Montenago, aged 10, Valet added.
The attack also left several injured, two of them seriously, and followed the killing of three soldiers in two separate shootings in the same region last week by a man who escaped on a scooter.
BFM TV news channel said that the gun used in the attack at the Ozar Hatorah school was of the same calibre as that used in the soldiers’ shootings, but a spokesperson for the interior ministry could not immediately confirm this.

President Nicolas Sarkozy and the socialite front-runner Francois Hollande cancelled all campaign events and along with Prime Minister Francois Fillon, attended the Notre-Dame de Nazareth synagogue for a somber ceremony.
They also visited the Ozar Hatorah school where the attack took place and the president announced a minute’s silence to be observed in all French schools on Tuesday.
U.S Marines Urinating On Dead Taliban Photos Video

The US Marines have identified the unit .The officer, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the Marines in question were believed to be from the 3rd Battallion, 2nd Marines, which is based out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

The clashes began early Friday with a military assault on a 3-week-old sit-in outside the Cabinet building by protesters demanding the military hand over power immediately to civilians.
More than a week of heavy fighting erupted in November, leaving more than 40 dead – but that was largely between police and protesters, with the military keeping a low profile.

Autobahn Pileup: 52-Car German Crash Kills 3 (Pics&Video)
Police say a 52-vehicle pileup on a highway in northwestern Germany.Three people has been killed while 35 get injured in this accident.
The accident happened Friday evening on the A31 autobahn near the town of Gronau on the border with the Netherlands.The weather was foggy at the time but it wasn’t immediately clear what triggered the pileup.Police said Saturday that people who were injured, taken to the nearby hospital.
Saif Al Islam Gaddafi Captured In Libya(Video)
Muammar Gaddafi’s son, Saif al-Islam,39, was captured by Libyan fighters yesterday,in the Southern Sahara region of Libya.The Guardian reported al-Alagi said “We have arrested Saif al-Islam Gaddafi in [the] Obari area” as he said Saif appeared to be in good health. Saif was arrested along with two aides who were apparently trying to smuggle him into neighbouring Niger.A mob of angry protesters tried to storm the plane but were beaten back by soldiers under orders to keep their prisoner alive so he could face justice.He was terrified that he might encounter like his father.Saif could yet face the death penalty for his crimes, but Libyan officials promised he would, at least, receive a fair trial.ICC prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo will travel to Libya next week for talks with the transitional government on how to proceed with Saif’s criminal trial.Everyone is enjoying this moment in Libya.
Benetton Ad:Pope Benedict XVI Kissing A top Egyptian Imam
The Benetton clothing company withdrew an ad Wednesday featuring a fake photo of Pope Benedict XVI kissing a top Egyptian imam on the lips after the Vatican denounced it as an unacceptable provocation.
“This is a grave lack of respect for the pope, an offence against the sentiments of the faithful and a clear example of how advertising can violate elementary rules of respect for people in order to attract attention through provocation,” Lombardi said.
Benetton had said its “Unhate” campaign launched Wednesday was aimed at fostering tolerance and “global love.” The campaign’s fake photos feature Other images show kisses between US president Barack Obama and Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez, Obama and China’s President Hu Jintao and Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu locking lips with Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas.
Late Wednesday it pledged to scrap the advertisement with the pope, one of a series of doctored photos depicting world leaders kissing each other on the mouth.
It wasn’t clear if the ad had been published anywhere; on Wednesday images from the campaign were unfurled briefly in Milan, New York, Paris, Tel Aviv and Rome but were quickly taken away.Vatican spokesman the Rev. Federico Lombardi called the ad an “unacceptable” manipulation of the pope’s likeness that offended the religious sentiments of the faithful.
The Vatican has said it will resort to legal action to stop clothing retailer Benetton’s advertisement with a photographic montage of Pope Benedict XVI kissing a noted Egyptian imam on the mouth.
18 Kids Killed In China Bus Crash
A school minibus crashed head-on with red truck on a road, killing at least 18 in the Yulinzi township in northwest China’s Gansu province on November 16.Sixty-two children and two adults were crowded into the bus, which had just nine seats, officials said. The driver and a teacher died along with the children, aged 5 and 6, said the director of the provincial work safety emergency office, surnamed Fan.Chinese Twitter-like microblogs exploded in rage after Wednesday’s accident, registering more than 800,000 posts within hours of the news.This accident says a lot about the problems with the government’s role of monitoring school safety,” said Liu Shanying, expert in public administration at the state-run Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. “It involves the education, traffic safety and work safety authorities. Today more then 75 people has been killed in a strong earth quack in eastern Turkey.It is measured 7.2 on the Richter scale.According to Indian timing it came at 4.15 in eve.Buildings and houses collapsed properly in van.Number of people are trapped under the collapsed buildings.Phone lines and electricity had been cut off. Turkish government declared a state of emergency and requested international assistance.Injured people had been taken to hospital in Van. Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan will head to Van to see the damage.
